BOISE, ID—The Boise State women’s soccer team improved to 3-0 on the season thanks to a strong-second half en route to a 4-0 shutout of the New Mexico State Aggies at Boas Soccer Complex Friday evening
“Everything is growing at this point, we are only three games in,” said Thomas. “We have got to get cleaner in the back passing. In the second half we weren’t being pressed on the ball as much as at the start, and we were a little jumpy at the back so we will continue to invest in that moving forward.”
With the win today the Broncos have matched their best start to a season since 2004. The Broncos will look to make their first ever 4-0 start to a season when they visit Pocatello, Idaho, for a match with the Idaho State Bengals, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. MT.
