Redhawks Show No Mercy in Win over San Francisco

SEATTLE – Seattle University men’s soccer hammered San Francisco, 5-0, to open the 2019 season on Friday night. Noe Meza scored twice and Burke Fahling tallied a goal and two assists in his Redhawk debut at Championship Field.

“It was a perfect script-we scored a bunch of goals, got a shutout, and played a lot of guys,” said Coach Pete Fewing. “I thought we were a little clunky at the beginning, but we got it going a bit and scored some good goals. That first goal was big to get us on our way. Hard work paid off for Burke tonight.”
