Undefeated WWCC women pick up 16th soccer win at Spokane 

SPOKANE — Caitlin Crist scored a goal and assisted Sariah Valencia on another for Walla Walla Community College, Warrior keeper Josey Gunter made a save to record her 10th shutout of the season, and they defeated third-place Spokane 2-0 to win their Northwest Athletic Conference East Region women’s soccer match here on Wednesday. YVCC Has Challenging Week, Still Has Playoff Hopes

Rugged defense in two matches against stellar opposition was not enough for Yakima Valley College’s soccer team last week, and the Yaks saw their NWAC playoff hopes dim substantially with a 1-1 tie against North Idaho and a 1-0 loss to Spokane.  Both East Region contests were played on the YVC Soccer Field, and dropped the Yaks to 5-3-3 in the East and 9-5-3 overall.
